How I lost my weight

Hey there beautiful people, I haven’t been blogging for almost 2 years now. I had to many personal things going on in my life.

Today’s blog will be about how I managed to lose weight.

How did I manage to be overweight: 

I was in my college days where I have been eating a lot of takeaway food for my lunch. I never use to take my own pack lunch. My mum was really poorly and I didn’t know how to cook. My dad was a chef and had his own takeaway, my dad use to always get left over food which has loads off fatness in to it. I didn’t realise that I was putting weight on until my family started to confront me how much I ate, which I didn’t believe them.

I Started to notice myself as my clothes weren’t fitting me. I didn’t care and I told myself I’m not fat and my family lying to me to make me feel down. I was constantly eating pizza 2 boxes a day and ate loads of breads every day and also I use to have left over takeaway curries. I’ve noticed myself that I was putting even more weight on and needed to buy new clothes. I was really upset and felt ugly and told myself I need to stop overeating.

My sister has given up her gym so she gave the membership to me which made me so happy. When I first went to the gym I use to use the treadmill and rolling machine and that’s the only thing I’ll go on. I use to go 5x times a day and I only use to do for half an hour. After the gym I use to go to the chippy shop. I use to think I will lose weight straight away and I can eat anything I want but I was wrong.

I’ve notice myself even more putting weight on around my face. I had to buy more clothes the size I went up to size 12 for tops/dresses and size 14 for trousers. I felt embarrassed. I started to drink water more and go to the gym and use the machine properly. I started to go on the cross-trainer and use that for half and hour and then the treadmill for 10mins and 20 mins on the rolling machine. I’ve been going on these machines for almost 2 months and I’ve been eating so healthy. I’ve lost 1 stone in those 2 months.

After that 2 months I went back to my normal eating habits. I had family issues and I went through anxiety. I’ve stopped going to the gym and went back to eating crap. I felt depressed and I’ve given up with life. My sister took the membership away from me as I wasn’t going to the gym, which I don’t blame her taken away from me. I’ve put 1 stone back on.

I was going through anxiety and didn’t want to do anything and I’ve become lazy and kept sleeping due to my job as my rota is different. I use to work in night shift which was hard and I use to eat a lot.

I’ve opened my own gym membership, I’ve been going to the gym with my sister. My sister were showing me how to use certain machine and use to show me how to lose weight. She even uses to take me to classes. I went to the gym for 2 weeks, I was on and off to go to the gym and I always use to make some silly excuses by saying I’m really tired and I’m not feeling too good. My sister use to say horrible things to me in order for me to go the gym but she failed.

My experience on losing weight:

It’s been 2 years and half that I haven’t been going to the gym and I was 12stones. I had put loads of thoughts to it to lose weight.

I started to go to the gym everyday and drink water 2 litres a day. I’ve been eating under 1000 calories, which helped me a lot.

At first it was really hard to be honest, the food control was hard and I was hungry. I’ve been very strong and told myself NO. I had to fight back with the hunger as I wanted to lose weight.

At the gym, I went on the treadmill for 1hour and a half. I have been going on it for 7months. I have lost a lot of weight and seen a lot of change in me. I know treadmill is boring, but it helped me.

People have different ways of how to lose weight but this has helped me a lot. After that 7 months I asked for a personal trainer to help me how to use the weights properly.

I had a personal trainer for 1 day and he showed me how to use the weights. I use to book my personal trainer once every 3 months to teach me more things. My personal trainer asked me why I don’t go to the classes, I’ve told him that I’m embarrassed by how I do things and I’m afraid people will laugh at me and judge me. He said there isn’t to be embarrassed as everyone will do different things. I told him I won’t go to class I prefer to be taught and then do it myself.

Ever since then I have gone to the gym and controlling my food habit.

I have 2 meals a day. I have breakfast in the morning and then have some fruits/snacks throughout the day and then I have some tea. I have been doing this for almost 3 years and half.

I don’t feel hungry at all and I have been controlling food. I do feel hungry and to make that hungriness go away I tend to eat more fruits. I still remain to eat less calories and sometimes I have my cheat days.

Summerias:

Losing weight was hard, when you put your head into it and bring focus you will achieve things. Everything I’ve done, I’ve done it all by myself.
